Mps, the independent Fabrizio Palermo resigns

Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena has announced that Fabrizio Palermo, independent director and member of the committee for transactions with related parties, has resigned from his position late yesterday evening, effective immediately, as he does not agree with the recent decisions regarding Governance.

In recent days, Carlo Vivaldi, another representative of the board list, had been declared disqualified for failing to resign as a director of Banca Mediolanum.
