After years of parallel growth and direct competition in the world of digital menus, MyCIA and Qodeup, among the most relevant players in the Italian market for the digitisation of horeca services, announce a strategic partnership to integrate their technologies and offer restaurateurs an even more complete, efficient and cutting-edge experience.
The agreement kicks off with the distribution by MyCIA of the Q-pay table self-checkout system, the table payment solution developed by Qodeup, the only solution of its kind operating in Mediterranean Europe, which has already convinced thousands of venues, drastically reducing waiting times, simplifying the division of the bill between diners and increasing staff tips.
"After the acquisition of Dishcovery, this new partnership allows us to strengthen the MyCIA offer in our restaurant network and beyond," adds Pietro Ruffoni, CEO of HealthyFood. "It is not just a commercial partnership, but a common vision on the evolution of the out-of-home dining experience. We know what the market wants and, thanks also to our Food Identity Card, what customers want. And the match we offer is increasingly perfect".
"This partnership stems from a maturity of shared vision: we have both developed solid platforms, scaled the market, and today we recognise the value of joining forces and technologies to go beyond the concept of a digital menu and offer a complete experience, from dish selection to payment," says Fabio Marniga, CEO of Qodeup.
MyCIA, with over 200,000 registered users and more than 800,000 monthly visitors, and a presence in over 3,200 locations in Italy, allows consumers to find dishes and restaurants in line with their dietary needs, thanks to digital menus translated into over 60 languages and filterable by allergies, intolerances and personal preferences.
