Through an official note, the Neapolitan club announced 'that it has consensually terminated the working relationship with coach Antonio Conte and his collaborators ahead of the natural expiry date'.
In the farewell message, Napoli wanted to express their gratitude for the work done by the coach from Lecce during his time with the Azzurri. "Saying goodbye to the outgoing coach," the statement read, "Napoli extends its thanks to the coach and his staff for theexcellent work done, as well as best wishes for the future and for the next professional challenges that they will decide to face. Thank you, coach!".
The official parting puts an end to the rumours that had been circulating in recent weeks regarding Conte's future. The separation comes by mutual agreement between the parties and now opens a new phase for the Campania club, which is busy choosing a successor on the bench and planning for next season.
