Approximately 150 euros of average increase, 149.88 to be exact. This is perhaps the most eagerly awaited figure for teachers that was released by the 2022/24 collective agreement. It is a 6 per cent increase. For the technical-administrative staff, the Ata staff, the average monthly increase is about EUR 110 (109.78).
Decisive meeting
Today was the decisive meeting at Aran with the trade unions, which led to the signing of the contract, also in the light of the changed attitude of Uil, which within two days signed the Ccnl for local authorities and, yesterday, for central functions.
The target audience
The Ccnl 2022/24 of the maxi Education and Research sector affects about 1.2 million employees, of which 850 thousand are teachers. On the plate, as a result of previous financial laws, there are about 3 billion euro, to which were added the 240 million allocated in the Maturity Decree converted into law last week. With this topping-up of resources, again for teachers, will also come a one-off payment of 142 euros on average. If the collective bargaining agreement is signed (or will be signed by the end of the year), arrears will also be released, which Aran has quantified in recent days at an average of approximately 1,450 euros.
"I think that the conditions are in place for the signing of the school, too," said the Minister for the PA, Paolo Zangrillo, at the microphones of Radio24. "I have been talking in recent days with the president of Aran, Antonio Naddeo, who is doing an excellent job with his team, and I must say that the feelings are good.
The new incentivised training
Apart from the economic part, which is important for a sector that is always at the bottom of the pay rankings in the public sector and also in comparison with their European colleagues, as confirmed by the latest data just collected by Eurydice, another important challenge of the 2022-24 collective bargaining agreement is the take-off of the new incentive training system for teachers. As of 2026/27, in fact, three-year training cycles are scheduled to start, which will have to be calibrated either on the performance of additional tasks (the instrumental functions already envisaged today or the role of tutor and advisor) or on the strengthening of the training offer. According to what is contained in the guideline act for the 2022/24 collective agreement, those who pass the first three-year cycle with a positive assessment will get a first 'one-off' and the same will happen at the end of the second. Those who will also complete the third three-year cycle will see the economic incentive turn into a structural one. The quantum will depend, first of all, on the available resources, which will start from 40 million in 2026 to reach 312 million in 2031. And, then, on the number of beneficiaries.
