(Il Sole 24 Ore - Radiocor) - The award of "Capital of Business Culture 2024" has been assigned by Confindustria to Turin, rewarding a candidacy dossier whose slogan "Space to the future" represents the common thread linking the events promoted by the Unione Industriali Torino during 2024. A programme that expresses the willingness to look ahead, to explore the new frontiers of enterprise, to anticipate the trends and challenges of tomorrow, through an itinerary that aims to tell the story, the present and the future of Turin as an industrial, technological and creative city.

The programme prepared therefore aims to represent and enhance, with a historical and prospective approach, Made in Italy, local manufacturing excellence and the link with the territory, the heritage of knowledge, ingenuity and vision of those who know how to 'do business'. Over the course of the entire year, Turin becomes the fulcrum of an articulated calendar of initiatives and events, in many cases of national interest, conceived with the objective of reaching the entire citizenry, with particular attention to the involvement of schools and the new generations.

Some of the city's most significant events will showcase topics related to business culture and will complement the initiatives of partner enterprises and a series of events organised ad hoc by the Unione Industriali Torino, as well as the actions it has developed with colleagues from other Italian cities with rich entrepreneurial traditions: in Piedmont, the cities of Ivrea, Biella, Alba and Cuneo are also involved, and joint actions with Genoa, Milan and Naples are planned.

The first stage of the 'Torino Capitale della Cultura d'Impresa' journey is scheduled for Monday 19 February with the event 'Spazio al Futuro - Giovani, imprese e territori', during which the city will symbolically celebrate the event by projecting the 'Torino Capitale della Cultura d'Impresa 2024' logo on the Mole Antonelliana in the late afternoon at the Unione Industriali Torino Congress Centre.

In order to guide the public through the programme and orientate them in their choice of the numerous thematic opportunities, most of which are open to the free participation of citizens and others reserved for member companies of Unione Industriali Torino, a website www.torinospazioalfuturo.it has been set up with a list of all the events on the calendar. An information tool conceived as a work in progress that will gradually be integrated and enriched over the course of the year and that at the moment mainly illustrates the appointments scheduled in spring and summer.

Still on the communication front, 'Torino Capitale della Cultura d'Impresa 2024' will also make use of the collaboration offered by the historic Turin agency Armando Testa, creator of a promotional campaign designed to promote the initiative and raise the profile of Turin's industrial system. Similarly, there are numerous other realities that have concretely contributed to the realisation of the programme, starting with the Turin Chamber of Commerce, joined by the Fondazione CRT and the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo with their adhesion to the partnership programme promoted by the Unione Industriali Torino. Like them, companies such as Bper Banca, Lavazza Group, Sistemi (Premium partner), Iren, Reale Mutua, Umana (Advanced partner), Alpitour World, Aon, Edison, Eni, Fresia Alluminio, GCerti, Xori Group (Plus partner).
