OpenAI is aiming to break Google's monopoly. According to rumours circulating on social media, the company led by Sam Altman is ready to launch a search engine based on ChatGpt. The domain https://search.chatgpt.com, as it would be called, was spotted by a user on the Reddit platform. At the moment, visiting the site, the words 'not found' appear. Unofficial rumours indicate 9 May as the launch date.

'Google shows you 13 ads and ten blue links maybe there is a better way to help people find information. The sentences sound like a declaration of war. Google has dominated the market for almost 30 years, has a 90 per cent market share, and disburses billions of dollars annually to Apple to remain the default search choice even on iPhones.
The rumours about Apple
In the technological jigsaw puzzle that is being put together in the light of the artificial intelligence exploit, Apple itself - according to Bloomberg rumours - is reportedly intensifying negotiations with OpenAI for a possible integration of ChatGpt on Apple phones. In the background is Microsoft, which has heavily financed the Sam Altman-led company and has started to integrate AI into its Bing search engine.
An update on artificial intelligence and a response to OpenAI is likely to come soon from Google at the developers' conference scheduled for 14 May.
