On the occasion of the newspaper's 160th anniversary, the 24 ORE Group lands on TV: the Radio24-IlSole24OreTV channel is born, making its official debut on 24 June 2025 on channel 246 of digital terrestrial television, with the aim of becoming a point of reference for in-depth information. This event marks a historic moment for the Group, which thus becomes the first Italian editorial pole to hold a complete multimedia information platform, equipped with all the main broadcasting media: daily newspaper, periodicals, digital platforms, podcasts, press agency, radio, events and from now on also TV.
The visual layout of the channel will be innovative and high-impact, starting with the TV logo, which will be dynamic, reflecting the energy and versatility of Radio24-IlSole24OreTV, and thanks to graphics that will express the style of the main international 'all news' TV channels: the main image will be enriched by differently scrolling tickers and content feeds that will dynamically offer, from time to time, breaking news and in-depth analysis by Il Sole 24 Ore, market trends by Radiocor, sports news in collaboration with Tuttomercatoweb.com and weather forecasts in collaboration with iLMeteo.it.
The new channel will start in its very first phase with a rich and varied proposal, with contributions from all editorial offices and areas of the Group.
Radio 24 will provide the television schedule with successful programmes such as 24Mattino, with Simone Spetia and the participation of Paolo Mieli for the usual commentary on the day's events and interviews with leading figures in the worlds of politics, economics, and news; the morning show on current events and topics Uno Nessuno e 100Milan, with Alessandro Milan and Leonardo Manera; the personal finance column Due di Denari, with Debora Rosciani and Mauro Meazza, who help citizens navigate their way through savings management, dealing with tax authorities and bureaucracy, and consumer rights, with knowledgeable guests and clear, accessible language; Gianluca Nicoletti's Melog, whose questions and provocations invite us to decipher the era of post-truths, of certainties 'against' and unappealable verdicts dominant in the social-media 'flow'; in-depth coverage of international current affairs with N nessun luogo è lontano by Giampaolo Musumeci, who reports daily on everything that happens across the border. Space on TV is also given to sport with Tutti Convocati, with Carlo Genta and Pierluigi Pardo.
There will be no lack of appointments with information by the Radio 24 editorial staff: from the hourly News to Alessio Maurizi's Effetto giorno, with analysis and commentary to understand and delve into current affairs through live guests and interviews, and of course economic information with Sebastiano Barisoni's Focus Economia, which explains and analyses, in terms understandable even 'to the uninitiated', the most interesting topics of the economic-financial day with its protagonists and with the contribution of journalists and analysts from Il Sole 24 ORE.
