Bonuses, pensions and more: this is how the Italian Revenue Agency and INPS will explain them to businesses and universities
A roadshow across Italy to provide information and explore the topics in greater depth: from financial support to the rules for those preparing to enter the world of work
Key points
The Italian Revenue Agency and INPS are visiting businesses and universities to explain taxation, social security and digital services. This provides a direct channel for dialogue and discussion with the business community and with student communities at universities. A series of meetings is getting underway across Italia to address and explore in detail the issues of both taxation and social security.
The launch event
The launch event, scheduled for Thursday 25 June at Palazzo Mazzoni – a historic building that now houses the INPS Academy (Via Spinola, 11) – will feature speeches by the Deputy Minister for the Economy and Finance, Maurizio Leo, the Director of the Revenue Agency, Vincenzo Carbone, the President of INPS, Gabriele Fava, and the Director-General of INPS, Valeria Vittimberga. This will be followed by a round-table discussion involving representatives from the business world and universities.
The roadshow stops
As explained in a joint press release, the two organisations are pooling their expertise, experience and resources in a series of meetings that will involve leading companies and prestigious universities across Italia. Following the event on 25 June, the initiatives will continue at the premises of the businesses and, from September, at the universities: specifically, the first regional event is scheduled for 7 July in Puglia, at the Casillo factory (Via Sant’Elia, Corato); this will be followed by the event on 14 July in Piedmont, at the Intesa Sanpaolo auditorium (Corso Inghilterra, 3, Turin), and the one on 23 July in Emilia-Romagna, at the Barilla premises (Via Mantova, 166, Parma). The meetings with university students, meanwhile, will begin in September, coinciding with the start of the academic year.
Listening, discussion and in-depth analysis
During the events, which are organised into thematic modules, experts from the Revenue Agency and INPS will be on hand to assist businesses and universities, providing all participants with information on the main tax and social security issues and exploring topics of particular interest in greater depth, including tax relief schemes for the business sector and for employees, the rules for those preparing to enter the world of work, and the online services designed to simplify compliance procedures.
The Confidence Report
In fact, a channel of dialogue will be established with businesses and universities with the aim of explaining the rules and opportunities available, raising awareness of tax and social security issues, and strengthening the relationship of trust between institutions, businesses and the younger generation.
