PlanEat has launched a new capital increase totalling EUR 2.7 million. The new resources, injected into the company's capital by the existing shareholders (StarTip, Mercurio Holding, HB4 and founder) and by the Sgr specialised in impact investing, Sefea Impact, will be used by the company founded by Nicola Lamberti to accelerate the company's main lines of development: the offer of ready meals to workers in the company and of food kits for preparing meals at home as well as a development of the technology platform.

In fact, the programme for the coming months includes the setting up and sale of the model and platform outside the whole country, as well as the declination of the software in different areas of application: in the pipeline is a 'widespread canteen' system that allows the connection between restaurants and employees of neighbouring companies, again with a view to planning and controlling food waste. Planeat closed 2024 at around EUR 4.2 million in turnover and expects to reach around EUR 7 million by the end of this year.
