Pro-Pal protests in several Italian cities

Processions, spontaneous demonstrations, occupations, agitations in ports and a general strike on Friday. Maximum attention is being paid to the pro-Flotilla mobilisations in Italian cities. Protests that were 'ignited' immediately after Israel began boarding the boats of the humanitarian mission that were getting closer and closer to the Strip. In Naples, activists of the Pro Pal network and students of the self-organised collective occupied the platforms of the Naples Central station, causing a temporary blockade of incoming and outgoing train traffic. The permanent garrison in Rome's Termini station blocked the streets in front of the station in solidarity with the Global Sumud Flotilla. A procession has reached Via del Tritone where there is a police barricade deployed in riot gear. The demonstrators are demanding to get to Palazzo Chigi.

The central entrance to the Porta Nuova railway station in Turin has been closed, in an attempt to avoid possible blockades by pro-Palestine demonstrators, who are protesting in the city against the blockade of the Flotilla bound for Gaza. The underground entrances to the same station were also closed. The procession of protesters, which started from piazza Palazzo di Città, in Turin, arrived under the Turin headquarters of RAI, where they shouted 'we will block everything'. The demonstrators lit some red smoke bombs and then marched in the direction of Palazzo Nuovo, which had been occupied earlier.
Crowd in Milan: "Government and Mattarella do not represent us". Cadorna station occupied
"Not only does this infamous government not represent us, but also our President of the Republic, who shows us how institutions are complicit in genocide". This was said by pro-Pal activists from the megaphone during the procession in Milan in solidarity with Global Sumut Flotillia. "It is our institutions that prevented the Flotillia from breaking the illegal blockade. They do not represent us. Let's send them this message not only with words but also with deeds: we will re-block everything on 3 October,' the protesters concluded.
Milan pro-Palestine protesters occupied the Cadorna station. The procession, attended by over a thousand people, entered the station without tensions with the police.
Protests also in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna
Piazza Maggiore, in Bologna, was filled with people to answer the call of the various acronyms animating the protest for Gaza, after the blockade of the Global Sumud Flotilla. In the square, Palestine flags and slogans of solidarity with the humanitarian mission. Tents were also erected on the square with the intention of prolonging the occupation. From the university area and from some social spaces improvised processions were directed to Piazza Maggiore.
