On Saturday 9 May, from 8.30 to 10 a.m., Radio 24 Friends and Enemies returns, exceptionally only with Daniele Bellasio, but Marianna Aprile will be back from Saturday 16 May and will not miss her editorial on Saturday 9 anyway.
Guests of the episode will be (in alphabetical order): Mario Calabresi (journalist and writer, director and co-founder of Chora Media), Micol Flammini (journalist, writer, expert on Europe and Eastern Europe, writes for Il Foglio), Agostino Giovagnoli (historian, professor emeritus of Contemporary History at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan) monsignor Davide Milani (among others, president of the Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo and editor of the Rivista del Cinematografo), Lorenzo Pregliasco (among others, founder and editor-in-chief of Youtrend), Carlo Torti (Professor of Infectious Diseases Clinic at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan and Director of the Infectious Diseases Unit at the Policlinico Gemelli).
Starting at 8.30 a.m., Bellasio will talk with Professor Carlo Torti about the Hantavirus outbreak off Cape Verde in recent weeks. Risks, possible spread and characteristics of the virus will be the focus of the interview.
Following this, from 8.45 am, the guest of Amici e nemici Mario Calabresi, author of the book Alzarsi all'alba (Mondadori), will be the author of the book. With him we will talk about Emmanuel Carrère (whom Calabresi recently interviewed on the occasion of the publication for Adelphi of Kolchoz, the French writer's latest book), the future of podcasts and international current affairs.
Immediately after the 9 o'clock radio news, then, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's visit to Pope Leo XIV and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will be the topics of an interview with Professor Agostino Giovagnoli.
