After the almost 400-square-metre town house in Vigna Clara with a price tag of over EUR 2 million, Raffaella Carrà's villa on the Argentario is also for sale. It is located in Porto Santo Stefano (Grosseto), in one of the most exclusive areas, and was designed in the late 1980s by the sculptor artist Giò Pomodoro. It is built on several levels for a total surface area of 1,500 square metres: 1162 square metres of interior space are distributed between a main villa and two annexes. The complex is surrounded by nature and includes almost 6 hectares of land, with gardens, vineyards, olive groves, a heliport and ample space for a riding school.
Specifically, one reads on Lionard's website, the 716-square-metre manor house is on three levels. A wide driveway from the main road winds along a path scented with ancient olive trees and thick lavender bushes and leads to the entrance of the villa. Inside there is a living room with fireplace, a kitchen with a large pantry, seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a relaxation room, a gymnasium with a large window overlooking the sea, and two cellars in the basement, with a stone barrel ceiling and terracotta floors, in the best Tuscan tradition. The second villa forming part of the complex is on two levels for a total of 236 square metres. It houses a large living room with fireplace, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Finally, the annexe in a panoramic position on the knoll consists of two large rooms with relative bathrooms for a total of 236 square metres.
The property has been put up for sale by the heirs of the soubrette who passed away on 5 July 2021 and appears on the Lionard Luxury Real Estate portal with price and negotiation reserved, although, according to rumours gathered by Adnkronos, the villa is offered at a price in excess of two million euros.
