Referendum, fourth question on procurement and safety

The fourth referendum question deals with health and safety at work and concerns the so-called 2008 Consolidation Act. Contracts and subcontracts are in the crosshairs. It calls for the amendment of the current rules, which prevent in the event of an accident in contracts from extending liability to the contracting company. For the initiators, repealing the existing rules and extending the liability of the contracting company means more safety at work.
