Referendum, what we vote for and how the parties are lined up
In the majority (opposed to the substance of the questions) the line of abstention seems to prevail, in order to fail to reach the quorum. Pd, M5s and Avs, on the other hand, are mobilised for participation in the vote and for a yes to the questions on labour and citizenship.

We are less than a month away from the four referendums on labour (promoted by the Cgil) and the one on citizenship (sponsored among others by +Europa) on 8-9 June. And the parties begin to take sides. In the majority (opposed to the substance of the questions), the line of abstention prevails, in order to fail to reach the quorum. Pd, M5s and Avs, on the other hand, are mobilised for participation in the vote and for a 'yes' to the questions (with the exception of M5s, which on the referendum on citizenship has left the vote free).
What the five five referendums are calling for
.The five referendums, which have passed the Constitutional Court's scrutiny, will take place on 8 and 9 June during the second round of local elections.
In the crosshairs there is first of all the Jobs act for the restoration of Article 18 and therefore of reinstatement in cases of unlawful dismissal for workers hired after 7 March 2015 (since when the Renzi government's regulations, which introduced the growing protection contract, came into force); fixed-term contracts to limit their use to specific and temporary reasons; the elimination of the limit on compensation for workers unjustifiably dismissed in small companies (the aim is to increase protections for those working in companies with fewer than 16 employees); the joint and several liability of contracting companies in the case of accidents and occupational diseases.
The other admitted question, proposed among others by +Europa, calls for halving from 10 to 5 years the residence time in Italy for non-EU citizens of age to apply for citizenship.
Majority for the line of abstention
An official position of Fdi (as well as the League) is still missing, but, according to some rumours circulating, the Fratelli d'Italia leadership has indicated to deputies and senators the line of abstention on the referendum vote on 8 and 9 June. Instead, the leader of Forza Itali Antonio Tajani clearly sided with the party. "I do not know what FdI says we are for political abstentionism, we do not share the referendum proposal". And the line of non-participation in the vote, according to Carroccio sources, is the one also chosen by the Lega. In the majority, on the other hand, not following the line of abstention is Noi Moderati, which, however, announces 5 no votes.
