Refurbished smartphones top the list of the most 'loved' ones
The ranking of the products that started a new life was compiled by Refurbed, a marketplace with a presence in Italy and 11 other countries
Refurbished products continue to be popular. And at the top of the list of refurbished and reconditioned products are smartphones, with Iphone 13 leading the way. This is followed by tablets, smartwatches, laptops, and in last place household appliances. The Refurbed, the marketplace for refurbished products currently active in Italy and in 11 other countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Ireland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Finland, Portugal and the Czech Republic, has compiled the 'ranking' with the most wanted and purchased products.
A growing phenomenon
'The record growth experienced by Refurbed during 2025 confirms that the world of refurbished products is becoming an increasingly popular and conscious choice among European consumers every day,' say the company. 'A change that is reflected not only in the numbers, but also in the preferences of users, who are increasingly oriented towards reliable, quality products that meet the needs of everyday life.
Smartphone in the lead
Leading the ranking of the most wanted and purchased products are smartphones. At the top is the iPhone 13, which can be found, refurbished, for around 270 euros. This price fluctuates depending on the condition of the smartphone. In second place is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G. In this case, the cost is higher but, again, the figure varies depending on the condition of the item. In third place is the Google Pixel 7 with a lower cost than the iPhone.
Tablets and smartwatches
On the list of refurbished products put back into circulation by Refurbed are tablets. In this case, they range from the iPad Air 5del 2022 to the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 12.3" and the Galaxy Tab Active pro. The costs for a good product range from a minimum of EUR 185 to EUR 450. Of course, costs vary depending on the brand, but also on the condition.
Then space for smartwatches. The most 'popular' are the Apple Watch Se 44 from 2022, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classi and the Huawei Watch Gt 2 Pro (2020). In this case, costs range from around EUR 120 to more than EUR 200. In the race for laptops, they range from the Macbook pro 16" in 2019 to the Lenovo Thinkpad T480 14" to the Dell Latitude 5420 14". Prices range from 200 euros to over 450 euros. Costs that, of course, vary depending on the condition and age of the items.
