The Agenzia delle Entrate recruits through a competition 350 permanent officials, experts in tax law, to be assigned to activities related to collaborative compliance and international taxation.

The selection procedure comprises a written test on the basis of which a ranking is drawn up. The test consists of two parts: a multiple-choice questionnaire with questions on tax law and elements of tax theory, civil and commercial law, administrative law, company accounting, elements of criminal law, with particular reference to tax offences.

Multiple-choice questions on practical tax cases: this second test is in English.

During the written test, knowledge of the use of the most common computer equipment and applications is also assessed.

The assessment is in thirtieths, and is considered passed with a score of 21/30. The calendar will be published by the Revenue Agency on 23 June 2025.

The positions concern the offices in Milan and Rome. Recruitment includes a probationary period of four months and the official must remain in the office of first assignment for a period of no less than five years.

International Taxation Activities

In addition, in the field of international taxation, the new employees will handle relations with multinationals that are members of the Icap (International Compliance Assurance Programme) in the field of transfer pricing and the preventive dialogue with companies resident abroad under the 'Enhanced Cooperation and Collaboration Procedure'.

Candidate requirements

.

Candidates must have a law or economics degree obtained in the old system or a specialist or master's degree in one of the following disciplines jurisprudence (22/S or LMG-01), teoria e tecniche della normazione e dell'informazione giuridica (102/S); scienze dell'economia (64/S or LM-56); scienze economico-aziendali (84/S or LM-77). A thorough knowledge of English is required.

A participation fee of 10 euros is payable.
