October is the month of monsters. Five TV series not to be missed
Browsing through the global streaming, satellite and digital terrestrial offer, here is a selection of titles not to be missed
Gen V is written as you would expect. It may be that they all look a bit alike now, but there is a not-so-hidden pattern in the scripts that pushes the writers to give you what you want without compromise and at the times you want. So in the case of the spin-off ofThe Boys on Prime Video you get splatter, sex-splatter, teen-drama and black humour at regular intervals. To be taken as if it were medicine. This is to say that sometimes they seem a little too packaged. We discover nothing, but a little too much is a little too much. That said, October is the month of monsters. Enjoy.
Monster: The Story of Ed Gein - Season 3 - 3 October Netflix
After the cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer (true masterpiece) and the Menendez brothers (crazy story) comes the turn of Ed Gein. All monsters who really existed. For those who don't know him, he is perhaps one of the creepiest serial killers ever. You know the horror film Don't Open That Door? That's it. We're over there. (Netflix)
Ozzy: no escape from now, - Docuserie - 7 October
.Ozzy Osbourne is not a monster but he looks like one. Four months after his death, the docuseries dedicated to one of rock's most incredible stars arrives on time. Ozzy is much more than that. He is a human and media case that should be studied at university. I'm very curious. (Paramount+)
The Monster - Season 1 - 22 October
The director is Stefano Sollima, the protagonist is the monster of Florence. The monster par excellence. Eight double murders and 17 years of fear. I expect something new. (Netflix)
IT: Welcome To Derry - Season 1 - 27 October
We are talking about It, the clown, the one from Stephen King's 1986 novel. We are talking about a scary classic, a childhood nightmare, something crystal clear and pure for all horror lovers. (Sly and Now.tv)
