Facilities, therefore, will pay, for devices held outside the family environment, depending on the type, amounts that can reach up to EUR 6,528.27. The confirmation came in the decree of the Ministry of Enterprise and Productive Activities (Mimit), published in the Official Gazette on Thursday, 5 February 2026.
The reference tables
The ministry, reads the preamble to the decree, decided not to adjust the amounts in view of the revenue collected, and reference should be made to Tables 3 and 4 of the Ministerial Decree of 29 December 2014 to derive the sums due.
Table 3 shows the amounts for subscriptions at accommodation facilities: from 195.87 euro for those who, whatever the category of facility, use only one television set, up to 6,528.27 euro for 5-star hotels with a hundred or more rooms.
Table 4, on the other hand, shows the amounts for cinemas, theatres, discotheques and other similar establishments; in this case, the amount is between EUR 243.51 and EUR 315.97, again depending on the category of the establishment. The amounts are net of government or municipal concession tax and VAT.
