State of play February 2026, everything you need to know about Playstation news in 18 trailers
to God of War to John Wick, here are which titles will soon be available to play on PS5
At the highly anticipated State of Play event on 12 February 2026, PlayStation announced in a livestream that lasted just over an hour a flurry of announcements and trailers for new titles, some of which will debut in the coming months, much to the delight of gamers. The trailer for 007 First Light was previewed, offering a close-up look at this IO Interacive-developed take on James Bond's origins: from his meeting with his handler, former 00 agent John Greenway, with whom he must work together to defeat Britain's agent 009.
Space then went to Game 4: Loop. Mike Booth, Chief Creative Officer of Bad Robot Games, previewed the dynamics of this four-player combat sandbox already announced last December.
On 4 August, however, it will be the turn on PS5 of Beast of Reincarnation: an RPG telling the story of Emma, an outcast girl, and her evil dog Koo set in a sci-fi Japan.
Among the returns is Brigandine Abyss, after first debuting in 1998 on PlayStation. Now the series takes players to a world where battles take place on a grid of hexagons.
Developed by Konami, together with Evil Empire and Motion Twin, the platforming video game Castlevania: Belmont's Curse lands on PS5 with new weapons and abilities revamped in a graphic style never seen before.
