Stellantis: second-quarter deliveries up 10% to 1.6 million units
Deliveries in North America rose by 38 per cent. In Europe, growth came from both Stellantis and Leapmotor-branded vehicles, with Bev’s deliveries making the most significant contribution
Stellantis’ consolidated deliveries for the three months ended 30 June 2026 were estimated at around 1.6 million units (1.597 million to be precise), representing a 10 per cent increase on the previous year. This growth was driven primarily by North America (+38% to 445,000 units), fuelled by new product launches, and by the wider European market (+5% to 762,000 units). In Europe, growth came from both Stellantis and Leapmotor-branded vehicles, with Bev deliveries making the most significant contribution. These figures were partially offset by lower volumes in the Middle East and Africa (-3% to 121,000 units), largely due to the conflict in the region, and in South America (-3% to 253,000 units), due to weakness in the Argentine market. Deliveries refer to the volume of vehicles delivered to the dealer network, distributors or directly to end customers and fleets, which determine revenue recognition.
More specifically, across the wider European market, growth in deliveries for the Stellantis brands was driven mainly by recent product launches. Strong demand for models based on the Smart Car platform, including the Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross, the Opel/Vauxhall Frontera and the Fiat Grande Panda, contributed around 41,000 additional units, representing a 51 per cent increase on the previous year. In the C-segment, the new Jeep Compass also made a positive contribution, with around 8,000 additional units. These increases were partially offset by a reduction of around 28,000 units in deliveries of previous-generation B-SUV models, including the Jeep Avenger, Fiat 600, Opel Mokka and Peugeot 2008. Deliveries of Leapmotor-branded vehicles rose by around 25,000 units to 33,000 units, driven by strong demand for the T03 and B10 models.
In North America, most of the growth was driven by new or refreshed models and new engine options, including the Ram 1500 (light-duty) HEMI® V8, the new Ram 1500 TRX SRT, the refreshed Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee, and the refreshed Chrysler Pacifica. Added to this is the gradual increase in volumes of the all-new 2- and 4-door Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Charger SIXPACK; it also reflects preparations for the already scheduled summer production breaks. In the Middle East and Africa, growth of around 8,000 units was recorded in Algeria, driven by the continued strong performance of the Fiat Doblò, and – albeit to a lesser extent – in Morocco, driven by higher market volumes.
These increases were more than offset by Turkey, where deliveries fell by around 8,000 units due to less favourable market conditions, and by the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), where deliveries fell by around 50 per cent. In South America, the growth recorded in Brazil – amounting to around 21,000 units and driven by favourable market conditions – was more than offset by the fall in deliveries in other markets in the region, primarily in Argentina, where they fell by around 25,000 units. Deliveries in Asia-Pacific remained in line with the previous year, standing at 16,000 units.
