Gemme (Anas): 2,500 staff working on escape plan

"We are committed to ensuring smooth and flowing traffic flow for all users despite the large volume of traffic," explained Anas CEO Claudio Andrea Gemme. "As envisaged in our exodus plan, 2,500 people are operational with Anas teams on duty 24 hours a day to monitor the road network and intervene immediately in the event of an emergency. Together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Police Forces, we have always been in the front line to protect the road safety of citizens along the network. With our work,' emphasises Managing Director Gemme, 'we want to ensure that travellers have a peaceful holiday. With the recommendation for everyone and without exception to always behave correctly when driving, as we recall in our communication campaign with our ad: 'When you are driving everything can wait'".
