It is entitled Hello World, the new album by the Pinguini Tattici Nucleari, to be released on 6 December by Epic Sony Music Italy. The same title as the tour that will soon see them perform in Italian stadiums. It comes more than two years after the last album, Fake News, consecrated by an incredible tour in stadiums and arenas, and after the new single, Romantico ma muori, already certified Golden Disc.
Hello World has it all in it, 'hello' - hello - the action and 'world' the audience, and by Hello World one can refer to everyone in the world indiscriminately. Inside these two simple words combined is all that is needed. It is not only the first phrase taught to programmers, but can appeal to anyone because it represents a sincere greeting to the world.
This record can therefore also be interpreted as a renewed and warm greeting from the band to the rest of the world. "Hello World is the first sentence that programming students traditionally learn to make a programme 'say'. These two simple words are the synthesis of everything: subject and context, input and output," explain Nuclear Tactical Penguins. It is a prestigious collection of Gold, Double, Triple and Quadruple Platinum records, with a stay at the top of the charts for more than a hundred weeks, that accompany the success of the band from Bergamo, with more than one and a half billion streams and a summer 2022 of three hundred thousand admissions. The Meazza Stadium in San Siro sold out in less than 12 hours from the opening of pre-sales, the Olimpico in Rome sold out in three days. The Pinguini Tattici Nucleari won the Mtv European Music Awards 2022 as Best Italian Act.
