The Trump administration launches raids against illegal immigrants in Chicago and Illinois, following threats in recent days. The Department of Homeland Security announced on X the start of 'Operation Midway Blitz in honour of Katie Abraham, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident caused by drunk driver, criminal illegal immigrant Julio Cucul-Bol, in Illinois'.

"This ICE operation," the ministry explains, "will target criminal illegal immigrants who flooded into Chicago and Illinois because they knew that Governor Pritzker and his protection policies would protect them and allow them to roam freely on American streets. President Trump and Secretary Noem stand by the victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants, while Governor Pritzker stands by the criminal illegal immigrants'. Both the mayor of Chicago and the governor of Illinois, both Dems, had warned Trump against raids and the use of the National Guard.
