Donald Trump has launched a fresh attack on Giorgia Meloni. The US President, following the statements made in recent weeks, has targeted the Prime Minister with a post on the social media platform Truth.
The White House chief has posted an image depicting the Italian Prime Minister in a state of ‘adoration’ before the President of the United States. The image is accompanied by the phrase ‘a restraining order is needed’, calling for measures to be taken against the Prime Minister.

Trump’s post comes on the eve of the NATO summit, scheduled to take place in Ankara on 7 and 8 July.
