As of Wednesday 18 December, the Siisl platform (Information System for Social and Labour Inclusion) opens up to all citizens and businesses with the aim of facilitating the matching of labour supply and demand. Siisl addresses a potential pool of 25 million users. Through the use of Artificial Intelligence, an algorithm according to an affinity index makes it possible to cross-reference the CVs uploaded by citizens looking for a new job with the open positions published by companies, also offering customised training courses to support job placement.
The platform is aimed at young people, the unemployed and those who want to change jobs
.At Palazzo Chigi during the presentation of Siisl, Employment Minister Marina Calderone, flanked by Inps president Gabriele Fava, explained that the platform 'is aimed at young people looking for their first job, those who have lost a job and want to find another one, but also those who, despite having a job, perhaps want to change it and want another opportunity. It is also a great opportunity for companies, because they will be able to publish their job offers, to find people in a quick and targeted manner'.
Citizens can access Siisl from Siisl.lavoro.gov.it with their digital credentials, upload their Curriculum Vitae, express their expectations, and consult the most relevant training and job offers, selected through the artificial intelligence algorithm.
Companies can also access Siisl, again from the Ministry of Labour website, upload advertisements, respond to expressions of interest from potential candidates and interview requests to find the most suitable person to fill the open position.
40,000 found jobs through the platform
.The digital platform started on 1 September 2023 targeting at first the recipients of Training and Employment Support (the instrument that replaced the citizenship income on the active labour policies side), then on 1 January 2024 it was extended to the recipients of the Inclusion Allowance (the second instrument that replaced the Rdc to fight poverty), finally on 24 November Siisl opened to the unemployed Naspi and Discoll recipients.
