Isee certificates updated, with benefits for accessing five benefits
Consequences for inclusion allowance, training and employment support, single and universal allowance, newborn childcare bonus
by N.T.
Key points
The new models of the unique substitute declaration (Dsu) are available and the Isee statements of declarations already submitted in 2026 have been automatically updated. Inps has announced that it has completed the procedures to incorporate the changes introduced by the Budget Law 2026 regarding the methods for calculating the indicator of the equivalent economic situation.
In particular, the Isee was included for specific family benefits and for inclusion, which applies to the following benefits: inclusion allowance, training and employment support, single and universal allowance for dependent children, nursery subsidy and forms of support at home, and newborn bonus.
From 1 January
The new calculation methods, introduced as of this year, entail a significant increase in the deductible on the value of the principal dwelling, which rises from 51,500 to 91,500 euro (cadastral value for Imu purposes), with a further increase of up to 120,000 euro for families residing in the capital municipalities of metropolitan cities. To these amounts is added an increase of 2,500 euro for each cohabiting child after the first.
In addition, again for the purposes of the five social benefits indicated, the increases in the Isee equivalence scale based on the number ofchildren in the household are strengthened (redetermined at 0.10 for households with two children, 0.25 in the case of households with three children, 0.40 with four children, 0.55 with at least five children): the coefficient thus makes the calculation more favourable for large families.
With message 102/2026, Inps had already specified on 12 January that these changes were operative but did not affect the final certificate. For this reason, the institute has now updated the Isee certificates of all Dsu submitted from 1 January 2026 with the Isee for family and inclusion benefits
