Cars, Urso: 'We envisage targeted incentives for commercial vehicles and some specific categories'

To stimulate demand in the automotive sector, Italia envisages incentives for the purchase of commercial vehicles and some specific categories. This was clarified by the Minister for Enterprise and Italian Manufacturing, Adolfo Urso, in a message read out during the conference on the automotive sector organised by Federauto at the headquarters of the Automobile Club of Milan. Not therefore generalised incentives.
"In order to stimulate demand, we provide targeted incentives for commercial vehicles and certain specific categories, so as to facilitate the renewal of the fleet and support the market recovery," were the words of the minister.
"I truly believe that together with all the players in the supply chain we can chart the course for a sustainable, balanced and inclusive transition that will revive a market that has been depressed for too long, so that we can meet the current challenges and record successes for our country and for Europe," he emphasised.

In the automotive sector, the minister explained, "the still growing trend of buying and selling second-hand cars shows how, in reality, the market is asking for products, but evidently the offer does not meet the real purchasing power of families. In this context, the Italia government has given the European Union a shake, questioning the crazy ideas of the Green Deal'.
