Piaggio unveils the Vespa Gts 310 at Eicma: it is fitted with a 310 cc Euro 5+ single-cylinder engine in place of the 278 cc one, still liquid-cooled, and with 25 hp of power. Torque is also increased, available from the first opening of the throttle, as well as ride flexibility. The Gran Turismo Sportivo qualities of the Vespa flagship are thus enhanced by unprecedented performance. In keeping with Vespa tradition, on the Gts 310 the all-steel bodywork also acts as a frame, supporting the engine unit (centrally mounted) and the mechanical components, a construction philosophy that ensures robustness and dynamism, to which the 12" wheels also contribute. Vespa Gts 310 adopts electronic traction control, a full LED headlight and keyless start system.
