Dozens of masked Israelis attack a 67-year-old man in the village of Deir Sharaf
Dozens of masked men armed with sticks attacked a nursery and beat and injured a 67-year-old Palestinian man in the village of Deir Sharaf, in the northern part of the West Bankoccupied. This was reported by witnesses and is based on a video obtained by Associated Press, filmed by security cameras. The attack dates back to Thursday.
Images show men dressed mostly in black, with faces covered, surrounding Basim Saleh Yassin, 67, and some kicking and punching a man on the ground. Yassin is hospitalised with fractures and other injuries. Two people who witnessed the attack and who are members of the family that owns the facility said that Israeli settlers beat Yassin as he tried to escape from the nursery.
They report that Yassin is in hospital and suffered fractures in his hands and other injuries to his face, chest and back. Four cars were burnt and destroyed in the nursery. They continue, in short, in the indifference of most the violence of the Israeli settlers.
