It is within this context of profound transformation that the WOMA Forum - Inspiring the World of pharMA, which will be held in Milan, at the Allianz MiCo, on 25 June 2026, fits in. An international, inspirational and future-oriented event promoted by BioPharma Network - Pharmaceutical Managers Association and 24ORE Salute, entirely dedicated to the Pharma, MedTech, Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors.

On stage will be globally recognised experts and leaders, capable of inspiring the future with visions and content of extraordinary value. Already announced to date are Professor Jennifer Doudna, who has been awarded the 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, for co-developing the revolutionary CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technique that will bring a reflection on the transformative power of biotechnology research; Dr. Bertalan Meskó, founder of the Futurist Medical Institute who will offer insight into how technologies and artificial intelligence will redefine medicine; Amy Cuddy, world expert in the topic of leadership who will explore the role of emotions and authenticity in driving change;Zack Kass, Artificial Intelligence expert former Head of Go-to-Market at OpenAI, who has been instrumental in the commercial launch of ChatGPT and its market adoption who will provide valuable insights into what leadership, approach, mindset and models to adopt this technology in businesses

José Manuel Barroso will also take the stage, former President of the European Commission, who in that capacity collected the Nobel Peace Prize in 2012 together with the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, and the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, on behalf of the European Union. Former Prime Minister of Portugal and now Chair of the Gavi Global alliance for Vaccine Immunization, which aims to spread childhood immunisation programmes in low-income countries and accelerate access to new vaccines, will share his perspective on the new global balance of health and economics. Other prominent names will be added in the coming months to complete the WOMA 2026 panel.

The topics on the agenda will therefore start with the evolution of the Pharma & Health ecosystem, before looking at future pioneering applications of robotic, digital and artificial intelligence technologies in the fields of prevention, treatment and research. A central focus will be dedicated to inspiring scientific research to stimulate and continue looking beyond, towards new possibilities for man and knowledge. The day will continue with a reflection on the leadership of the future in relation to technological and generational changes, to enhance people and at the same time transform the industry to embrace and foster the adoption of artificial intelligence in a productive, efficient and at the same time ethical way. It will then continue with a talk dedicated to the industrial strategies of the future to inspire disruptive strategies to meet the challenges of global markets, before concluding with a high-level keynote on how the health ecosystem will be transformed in the coming decades, outlining new health economy models and scenarios to be pursued for global health.
