PARIS - In recent years, health monitoring has become increasingly sophisticated thanks to advances in wearable technology that have enabled the creation of increasingly advanced smartwatches. Not everyone, however, likes to keep a watch on their wrist, which is why Samsung recently expanded its range of wearable devices with the Samsung Galaxy Ring.
The Galaxy Ring is designed to provide continuous and detailed health monitoring using artificial intelligence. Once slipped on, the is light and unobtrusive (it weighs 3 grams in size 13, the largest available), but thanks to a group of super-thin and advanced sensors it collects data on our vital signs throughout the day. These are functions we have already seen in action, but never through such a small and discreet device.
One of the most important aspects of our health is sleep quality, and the Galaxy Ring puts it at the centre of a highly advanced monitoring system using a combination of sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms that provide detailed and accurate analysis. Analysing snoring, measuring movements during sleep, heart rate and breathing allows users to better understand their sleep patterns and develop healthier habits.
The app connected to the device will use that same data to provide a series of useful tips to improve sleep conditions. A special function of the night monitoring is also dedicated to detecting women's skin temperature during the night, a parameter that is linked to the menstrual cycle. From a cardiac point of view,
The Galaxy ring provides continuous monitoring, sending instant notifications in the event of an unusually high or low heart rate, complete with information such as the type of problem, duration and time of onset. This function is particularly useful for detecting potential health problems before they become serious.
