New hybrid SUVs, 5 models on the way
Audi Q3 2025
The third generation of the Audi Q3 is radically different from the past, focusing on greater digitalisation, new styling and electrified engines. The Q3 is now in its third generation and has grown in size, but above all in terms of technology and equipment. Because as with the A5 and Q5, the philosophy of the four-ring brand is to equip each new model with the best available. An example? The Digital Matrix headlights, once found only on the flagship A8, now with a new micro-Led module and capable of improving safety thanks to Car to x communication and dedicated graphics with four light signatures. Built in Győr in Hungary and Ingolstadt in Germany, it will also come in an RSQ3 version in the future. The hybrid engine range of the third-generation Audi Q3 opens with the 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque 1.5 Tfsi four-cylinder featuring 48V mild-hybrid technology, 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission and cylinder-on-demand system. The most eagerly awaited novelty comes in the form of the plug-in hybrid version, based on the 1.5-litre Tfsi Evo Miller cycle engine with 272 hp and a 25.7 kWh battery (19.7 kWh effective). Thanks to almost double the size of the battery pack and a recharging capacity of up to 50 kW DC, the Audi Q3 e-Hybrid travels up to 120 kilometres on electric power with Wltp homologation (more than twice as fast as in the past) and takes less than 30 minutes to go from 10 per cent to 80 per cent battery.
