Citroen C5 Aircross changes radically from the Stla Medium platform, shared with a long list of Stellantis models starting with the Peugeot 3008. The dimensions of the SUV have increased: 4,652 mm long (+150 mm) and 1,902 mm wide. The wheelbase has been lengthened to 2,784 mm, benefiting passengers in the second row, and the boot has a capacity of 651 litres. The engine range includes only electrified offerings, starting with the 48 Volt hybrid, which combines a 136 hp 3-cylinder 1.2-litre engine with an electric motor that supports the combustion engine and achieves a combined output of 145 hp. The version equipped with plug-in hybrid technology, on the other hand, combines a 150 hp 1.6-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with a 125 hp electric motor integrated in the new 7-speed eDCS dual-clutch automatic transmission, powered by a 21 kWh battery located under the floor pan in the middle of the vehicle, for a combined power output of 195 hp and a range in 100 per cent electric mode of around 86 km.
