September brings with it some bonuses for families, especially for households with lower incomes.
Starting with aid for children's sports activities and the psychologist bonus.
Introduced by the Budget Law for 2025, which financed it with EUR 30 million, the 'Dote per la famiglia' fund provides a contribution of up to EUR 300 for the sports activities of children between the ages of six and 14, intended for families with an Isee up to EUR 15,000. It is possible to obtain the aid for a maximum of two children, for sports or recreational courses that are attended at least twice a week and last at least six months. By 8 September, interested associations and sports clubs, as well as non-profit organisations, must register on the ministerial platform and then families will be able to identify the courses.
Then, from 15 September to 14 November, a window opens to submit an application for the psychologist bonus, a contribution to pay for psychotherapy sessions for those suffering from depression, anxiety, stress and psychological fragility and who have an Isee of no more than 50,000 euro. The application must be submitted exclusively electronically on the Inps website.
The 'Dedicated Card', a contribution of 500 euro to buy essential foodstuffs for those with an Isee up to 15,000 euro, is also about to arrive. The Budget Law for 2025 refinanced it with 500 million euro and the implementing decree was published in the Official Gazette on 12 August. The Inps must now make the list of beneficiaries available to the municipalities, which will have to verify the regularity of the requirements; finally, the contribution will be made available to recipients through electronic cards that will be delivered at post offices.
