Bonus crèche 2026, applications to start
The request is valid until August of the child's third birthday
From 31 March, it is possible to submit an application for the crèche bonus or the contribution for forms of support at home. After outlining the changes in force as of this year in circular 29/2026 of 27 March, Inps opened the web channel (or through patronages) for submitting applications.
From this year, the application for the childcare bonus will be valid until the child's third year of life and the relevant Isee neutralises the amount of the universal and universal allowance. The kindergarten bonus has a differentiated amount depending on the year of birth of the child and the economic circumstances of the family. Since last 1 January, the reference Isee is the one for specific family benefits and inclusion, introduced by the Budget Law 2026, an indicator that neutralises the amount of the Single and Universal Allowance (Auu) for dependent children received by the members of the Isee household. As exemplified in the circular, with a household equivalence scale parameter of 3.10 and an Auu of €3,100, the amount that is excluded from the Isee is €1,000 (obtained from the ratio of €3,100 to 3.10). So if the Isee is 41,000 euro, it drops to 40,000 euro for the purposes of the bonus.
Questions and bookings
Applications submitted from this year are valid until August of the year in which the child turns three years of age, in accordance with Decree Law 95/2025. It is therefore no longer necessary to submit an applicationeach year but, from the second year, it is sufficient to access the one already registered on the Inps site and indicatethe monthly payments for which the benefit is requested in the calendar year of reference. The application may be submitted independently by citizens via the social security institution's website or through a patronage.
With regard to the asylum bonus, the reservation of amounts for the benefit of the applicant takes place on the date and at the time when the necessary documentation is attached to the application. If the resources are exhausted, the application is placed in reserve, pending the sums reserved by other citizens not being used.
Reimbursable expenses
Only the following expenses may be reimbursed: monthly tuition; any share of expenses incurred for the provision of meals, always relating to the selected monthly payment; amount relating to stamp duty; reduced VAT. The amounts can also be paid by a person other than the applicant, but in that case a photocopy of the payer's identity card and a declaration that the payment was made in the name and on behalf of the parent must be enclosed.
