Fincantieri and Crystal have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoA) for the construction of two high-end, state-of-the-art cruise ships, plus an option for a third vessel. The value of the agreement, subject to financing and other terms and conditions, would be around €1.5 billion, according to market sources.

.The new units will have a gross tonnage of 61,800 tonnes and will be able to accommodate around 690 passengers. The interior design, developed by prestigious international architectural firms, includes the use of high quality materials and craftsmanship. The ships will offer "all-suite" accommodation with private balconies, as well as several single-occupancy cabins, a popular and ideal option for those travelling alone. The decision to offer absolute comfort is confirmed by one of the highest crew-to-passenger ratios in this segment, with personalised service and extreme attention to detail.

Delivery of the first ship is scheduled for spring 2028, while more information on the second unit will be announced later.
