The goal is to raise EUR 1 million in equity and thus grow the business by EUR 8 million in 2024

The vegan burger chain Flower Burger celebrates its tenth anniversary by announcing the launch of an equity crowdfunding campaign on the CrowdFundMe platform, also aimed at "preparing the landing in the large-scale retail sector with an innovative plant-based product line".
The fundraising will start in mid-October and will last about two months with a target of about one million euro and aims, the promoters say, not only at the expansion of retail outlets, but also at the development of a range of products for mass catering, horeca and large-scale retail trade, with burgers, sauces and other branded products.
Founded in Milan in 2015 by Matteo Toto, with experience in the London startup world, Flower Burger now has a network of 18 stores in Italy, including direct and franchised. In 2024, the brand recorded a turnover of approximately 8 million euro. Moreover, the company's capital already includes prominent investors such as Francesco De Mojana (former partner of Permira and board member of La Piadineria), Henry McGovern (founder of AmRest) and Nicola Volpi (former CEO of Permira Italia).
The brand can now count on a community of more than 200,000 customers and supporters, more than 10 million burgers sold in ten years and collaborations with global brands such as Barbie and Hello Kitty, "which have strengthened its international recognition," reads a company release. "The goal is to consolidate trust and brand awareness, transforming the most loyal customers into a living, active part of the growth path as true brand ambassadors.
"With this operation we want to consolidate our retail presence and develop new distribution channels, bringing the Flower Burger identity into the large-scale retail trade and collective catering", comments CEO Matteo Toto, "A natural step to evolve our model and intercept a rapidly expanding market".
Advisor of the operation is Over Ventures, the advisory boutique with the first European crowdfunding studio founded and led by Giancarlo and Alberto Vergine.
