MG 3, the full hybrid urban citycar

Produced in China by the giant Saic, the MG 3 is a hatchback just over four metres long offering brilliant full hybrid mechanics at attractive prices. It has five doors and sports a rather sporty front end, with a sloping bonnet and slim headlights. The rest of the bodywork is classic, with rounded shapes. The alloy wheels are 16-inch in the most complete versions or 15-inch steel in the basic version. The interior of the MG 3 is restrained but cosy with a linear dashboard. The two screens already standard in the basic version stand out. In front of the driver is the 7-inch dashboard with intuitive graphics, while in the centre is the 10.25-inch screen of the multimedia system. Rear space is good and boot capacity discreet. Under the bonnet is a 1,500 cc 4-cylinder full hybrid with 102 hp and a 194 hp system coupled to a 3-speed automatic that operates according to the Atkinson cycle with a 136 hp electric unit, powered by a 1.8 kWh battery.
