Peugeot 2008
Cmp2 platform for the Peugeot 2008 claims measurements at the borderline of the b-suv segment: 4.30 m length, 1.98 m width, 1.55 m height. While load capacity is unchanged at 434 litres. There is a wide choice of engines, with the electric claiming a maximum power output increased by 15 per cent from 100 kW/136 hp to 115 kW/156 hp, while the battery is increased from 50 kWh to 54 kWh. The engine range includes the Hybrid 48V powertrain, which combines a 136 hp PureTech petrol engine with a new electrified 6-speed dual-clutch transmission that includes an electric motor. In addition to the electrified engines, the 2008 engine range offers a choice of petrol and diesel. The PureTech 100 petrol powertrain features a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine and is capable of delivering up to 100 hp (equipped with a Stop & Start system), and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. While still petrol but more powerful is the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder PureTech 130 with an output of 130 hp (with Stop & Start system) mated to the eight-speed Eat8 automatic transmission. Finally, there is the diesel option with the BlueHdi 130: the 130 hp 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine (with Stop & Start system) is mated to the eight-speed Eat8 automatic transmission.
