From 'tri-washers' to AI-driven robots: the smart home we want
Roborok RockMow & RockNeo, the robots that take care of the lawn
They are the first ever robot lawnmowers from the Chinese manufacturer and the new line presented at IFA specifically includes three models: RockMow Z1 and S1 and RockNeo Q1. All three are based on Roborock's extensive experience in domestic robotics and hoovers in particular and the integrated use of artificial intelligence to refine the machine's navigation and precision systems outside the home. The new robots adapt to lawns of all sizes and types thanks to technical equipment that includes four independent motors inside the wheels as standard, one for each wheel, an algorithm-based system that balances obstacle avoidance and cutting coverage, and (in the RockMow Z1 model) four-wheel drive to tackle steep slopes of up to 80% and overcome obstacles up to 6 cm high.
