On 17 August 2020, the Friedkin Group, led by Californian Dan Friedkin, obtained the majority stake in Roma for $591 million, with the obligation to prepare a public offer to acquire the remaining shares (the company will then be delisted in 2022). Dan Friedkin is the 25th president in Giallorossi history.
