The thousand lights of Turin to be discovered in five stages between ancient and modern history
Venaria Reale between fairytale scenery and international exhibitions
Until 6 January, offering an authentic fairytale setting. In the square in front of the Clock Tower is the Reggia's traditional large luminous Stag surrounded by the evocative animated projections of the "Immaginaria" exhibition, an exciting tale of light and sound. During the same period, the Reggia also opens its extraordinary spaces in the evening hours to let visitors experience the magical atmosphere of Christmas in the enchantment of its Baroque rooms. The imposing Court of Honour with Mario Merz's Igloo, Juvarra's masterpiece Galleria Grande, the Rondò Alfieriano and the Chapel of Saint Hubertus with the historic King's Crib set up for the occasion, host the public together with animations and musical moments. For fans of contemporary art, the internationally renowned exhibition Fernand Léger !, which brings together more than thirty works by the artist of the same name, is scheduled until 1 February. The exhibition highlights the strong historical and artistic link between Léger's work and the French art scene of the 1960s, in particular with the New Realists group that appropriated everyday objects from consumer society and the aesthetics of the street. Those wishing to discover the Reggia after the festivities can take advantage of the exhibition 'Queens on Stage', from April to September 2026, a spectacular account - through film costumes - of how the world of cinema, from its origins, has presented the figure of the queen as a symbol of royalty, power, authority and charm.
