The number one best-selling two-wheeler in 2025 is still the Bmw R 1300 Gs, and you have to go down to 13th place in the motorcycle-scooter rankings to find it; the German bike has been the most popular motorbike for years: if we also add the 2,986 units of the Adventure version (in practice a "bigger" Gs), the gap between it and the second best-selling bike - the Honda Transalp - is truly remarkable. The 2026 model year does not include any substantial new features, only colour changes. The heart of the two models is still the legendary 1300 cc two-cylinder boxer engine with an impressive maximum power output of 145 hp and maximum torque of 149 Nm available at 6,500 rpm, values that make the twin-cylinder engine of the Gs the most powerful BMW boxer ever mass-produced.
