US bases in Campania

The Naples base, divided between Capodichino and Gricignano di Aversa, is the headquarters of US naval forces in Europe and Africa (Naveur-Navaf). Operated by the U.S. Navy, it is a hub for command and control of NATO naval operations, with civilian and military facilities to support US personnel.
