US bases in Veneto

Caserma Ederle in Vicenza is home to the U.S. Army's 173rd Airborne Brigade, a high readiness combat unit. The complex also includes the modern Del Din Barracks. It is a major land base for US command and logistics in Europe and Africa, with frequent NATO joint exercises.
