Dreame A4 AWD Pro: four motors and AI for mowing on slopes

This robotic lawnmower has been designed to tackle complex gardens of up to 5,000 square metres, featuring a unique solution such as EdgeMaster 4.0, an extendable mechanical arm that brings the blades as close as zero centimetres to the edge, allowing it to trim right up against walls, trees and fences. Another key feature of the machine is its all-wheel drive: four motors in the wheel hubs enable it to tackle gradients of up to 90 per cent (42°) and obstacles up to 7 centimetres high. Navigation is managed by OmniSense 4.0, a system that combines 360° 3D LiDAR sensors, RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) satellite positioning and binocular computer vision to recognise over 300 categories of obstacles. 4G connectivity adds real-time tracking.
