SonicGlass A1, the transparent speaker that lets you see the music

MorningBlues, a brand belonging to the group of the same name with its registered office in Hong Kong, has arrived in Berlin to showcase a gem announced on the market last June. It is the SonicGlass A1, a speaker that transforms listening into a visual experience as well. The design is, in fact, its defining feature, taking the form of a transparent glass casing that encloses an equally transparent acoustic driver, revealing the internal architecture. The system displays song lyrics in real time, accompanying them with graphic effects synchronised to the beat and tailored to the musical genre. On the audio front, it utilises a high-rigidity Schott glass diaphragm and a neodymium magnetic system, whilst the AI adds a second dimension to the speaker: the ability to automatically generate cinematic video clips consistent with the style and atmosphere of the track being played. All of this is also managed via a dedicated app, whilst ‘over-the-air’ updates promise various features, including a future AI Radio. (G.Rus)
