Emilia Romagna: Trees on the Way
Not a nature walk, not a dance performance, not a botany lesson. Alberi in Cammino (alberincammino@gmail.com ) is all these things together, and none of them alone. It returns in 2026 with a new cycle entitled Verde Smeraldo (Emerald Green), four stages in as many extraordinary places in the Emilian territory, to meet - in the fullest sense of the term - four trees that have something to say. The project, conceived and interpreted by Gabriele Parrillo and promoted by the Festival della Lentezza, proposes a format that is both original and rigorous at the same time: each appointment is a sensorial and cognitive immersion dedicated to a single tree species, declined through the choreography and dance of Cora Steinsleger, the music composed and performed live by Daniela Savoldi, and the botanical identity card edited by agronomist Mauro Carboni. The result is a secular and collective ritual, in which the public does not watch: it participates. It will begin on 17 May (10.30 am) in the Boschi di Carrega, in Sala Baganza (PR), with a tree whose name reflects both distance and time: the Cedar of Lebanon, a millenary species capable of crossing the centuries without losing its shape
