In Chiclayo in the footsteps of Papa Prevost
It is the city where Robert Francis Prevost, before ascending to the papal throne under the name of Pope Leo XIV, spent many years on a religious mission, later becoming its bishop, dedicating himself to the poorest, living in close contact with the population of Peru's fifth largest city, and also sharing their passion for dancing and singing. From the historic wooden pier of Playa Pimentel overlooking the Pacific Ocean to the rugged landscape of Huaca Rajada, in and around Chiclayo in the north of the country, one discovers new itineraries and landscapes, more marginal than the most beaten tourist routes, yet just as spectacular and exciting.
