The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art arrives

September 2026 also sees the much-anticipated opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, inside Exposition Park in Los Angeles. It will exhibit narrative art through painting, photography, film and sculpture in a space of almost 10,000 square metres. The 45,000-square-metre campus will not only house the five-storey museum, but will also include extensive green areas and parks. Thus after more than fifteen years of planning, the ambitious plan is set to tell the story of the role of images and stories in human relationships. On display will be the director's (George Lucas) collection, including paintings by famous authors, comic books, photographs and Star Wars memorabilia.
